Music and video players

I want to pick an open-source replacement for Infuse, PowerDVD (playing music and videos stored on your device). Below is a list from Open Source Everything (CC BY-SA 4.0), in the order its website shows it. The order is a starting point, not a verdict. - VLC: VLC is a free program that plays almost any music, video, disc, or internet stream on your computer, phone, or tablet. It is for everyday people who want a reliable media player that works on many devices. [Easy setup; Windows · Mac · Linux · Android · iPhone; replaces fully; GPL-2.0; https://github.com/videolan/vlc] - IINA: IINA is a free video and music player for Mac computers. It is made for everyday people who want to watch videos and listen to music stored on their own device. [Easy setup; Mac; replaces fully; GPL-3.0; https://github.com/iina/iina] - MPC-HC: MPC-HC is a free video and audio player for Windows computers. It is made for people who want a simple player that plays many video and audio formats and offers many options. [Easy setup; Windows; replaces fully; GPL-3.0; https://github.com/clsid2/mpc-hc] - mpv: mpv is a free program for playing music and videos from the command line, a text-based way of typing instructions to the computer. It is aimed at people comfortable with technical tools who want a lightweight player for files on their own device. [Advanced setup (It has no menus or buttons to start with: you open files from the command line or with a separate front-end app.); Windows · Mac · Linux; replaces fully; GPL-2.0-or-later; https://github.com/mpv-player/mpv] - Strawberry: Strawberry is a free music player that also helps you organize a music collection on your computer. It is made for people who care about sound quality and keep large personal music libraries. [Easy setup; Linux; replaces partly; GPL-3.0; https://github.com/strawberrymusicplayer/strawberry] - fooyin: fooyin is a desktop music player that lets you arrange its screen layout and features as you like. It is for people who want to play and organize music stored on their own computer. [Easy setup; Windows · Mac · Linux; replaces partly; GPL-3.0; https://github.com/fooyin/fooyin] Setup rating: "Easy setup" means you can install it like a normal app, use it in a browser. "Advanced setup" means you must run it on your own server or use the command line, or it is a tool for developers. Full details: https://opensourceeverything.org/data/groups/media-players.json Before recommending anything, ask me these three questions (one at a time, in plain words): 1) Which device or devices will I use it on (Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iPhone)? 2) How comfortable am I with technical setup: only installing apps from a store, happy to follow a step-by-step guide, or comfortable with servers and the command line? 3) What is my budget: free only, or willing to pay for hosting or support? Then recommend one to three projects from this list only, and for each say why, using how fully it replaces the app, its setup rating, and the devices it runs on. If nothing on the list fits me, say so plainly instead of stretching.

Read the list of open-source projects at https://opensourceeverything.org/data/groups/media-players.json. Compare it with my project or idea below. Tell me which projects overlap, what I could reuse instead of rewriting, and what mine does that none of them do. My project or idea:
